About FPOD-Fascism

The Fascist Party of DeviantArt (FPOD) is a growing collective of mostly young Deviants who adhere to (or are otherwise interested in) an ideology of, or similar to Fascism.

The Fascist movements of the 1920s-1940s were known for their respect of Nation, Culture, and Tradition, as well as their disdain for Capitalism and Communism and openness towards new economic policy. For those joining, we ask not that you believe in all of these ideals, but that you study them for yourself and find where you stand.

Our group is open to Nationalism, National Socialism, Right-Wing Populism, Falange, the Alt-Right Movement, Strasserism, Traditionalism, and many more related ideologies.

Our Rules:

#1. Please limit yourself to posting only 3 Deviations to the group per day. This rule is to assure that your peers get the opportunity to have their work viewed as well, and no member overshadows any other member.

#2. Please do not use (modern) Occult symbolism in the Deviations you submit to the group, we are a political group above all.

#3. In addition to #2, we must clarify that we accept members of all religions. However, we are not the religious debate club, and we respect the decisions of our members. Keep religious debate to a minimum.

#4. Try not to post anything here that may get you banned, unless it is exceptionally important to you. We ask this for your sake, not ours.

Tomorrow, like seemingly every day in the United States now, will be a day of marches and protests against the Trump Administration in cities around the country. Tomorrow's protest is the hilariously-named "Not my Presidents Day", hilarious in that it uses a slogan that was considered clunky at best since it was first used.

After the Women's March, Day Without Immigrants, and countless other similar marches (many of which turned into riots, all unsuccessful in actually achieving anything of value), it only begs the questions of don't these people have anything better to do? Is this all they think about? How does it bother them this much? It would seem their main function in life is nothing more than to obsess over a Presidency they disagree with.

I can't reply to the autistic fuckwad below (blocked) but here is my reply.

"You do know that fascism was rooting in socialism, don't you?"

Then, it is bad because it was rooting in socialism. Not for the rest

That's not what I said. What you used was a false cause fallacy.

To an extent, yes. Mussolini was once a prominent Socialist, but his experience serving in WWI turned him towards nationalism and he later based his Fascist economic principles ("corporatism") loosely on the elements of Socialism that he still agreed with.
As for Fascist social policy, it was quite new, or maybe i should say quite old. It places an emphasis on retaining the culture and traditions of a nation and of it's societal norms (all of which many socialists wish to destroy), while working to both physically and mentally improve the individual.

Not all nationalism is right wing. Remember the Vietnam resistance against both the French and the Japanese? They were nationalists. The fact of the matter is that it is through the industries that Mussolini controlled the jobs, much like Hitler in Germany. The difference between that and communism allowed all industry to be under direct control of the government and not funded by the government.
